About Ninja
Ninja Delivery is a shinobi-themed food delivery app concept designed to make ordering fast, seamless, and slightly more fun. Inspired by Japanese dojo culture and ninja symbolism, the experience blends speed, precision, and simplicity into a cohesive mobile interface.
The goal was to reimagine the traditional food delivery experience by combining strong visual identity with conversion-focused UX. From “Dojo Categories” to “Ninja Perks,” the branding is woven directly into the user journey creating a memorable yet intuitive product.
Brief
To design and prototype a complete end-to-end mobile food delivery experience using Figma — covering onboarding, discovery, ordering, and payment flows.
The project required:
Creating a distinct themed visual identity (shinobi-inspired UI language)
Designing a seamless authentication and location flow
Building a discovery-first home screen with categorized “Dojos”
Developing search and filter systems to reduce friction
Crafting detailed menu and item pages with ingredient transparency
Designing a streamlined cart and checkout experience
Prototyping the full order placement journey through to confirmation
The objective was to create a fast, intuitive experience that mirrors the core attributes of a ninja: speed, clarity, and precision.
Design System & UX Thinking
A structured UI system was created to maintain consistency across screens, including reusable components, clear spacing rules, color hierarchy, and standardized CTA treatments.
From a UX perspective, the flow was designed to:
Encourage exploration without overwhelming the user
Keep primary actions easily accessible
Reduce unnecessary steps between intent and purchase
Support trust through ingredient transparency and clear delivery details
The shinobi theme acts as a strategic differentiator, giving the product identity while reinforcing its core value proposition: fast, efficient, and precise delivery.
Outcome
The final prototype delivers a fully mapped end-to-end mobile journey — from onboarding and location setup to search, item selection, cart review, payment, and order confirmation.
The experience prioritizes clarity at every stage. Key actions are visually dominant, pricing is transparent, and navigation remains consistent throughout the flow. The themed interface enhances engagement without compromising usability, ensuring that branding supports functionality rather than distracting from it.
Special attention was given to:
Reducing cognitive load during discovery
Minimizing friction in checkout
Maintaining strong visual hierarchy
Ensuring consistency across components and interactions
The result is a cohesive, brand-led product experience that balances personality with performance.
